What happens when someone goes looking for the supernatural in all the wrong places — and the real God meets them anyway? Phil Pringle shares the story of his own conversion at 19, when curiosity about Ouija boards opened a door to genuine spiritual torment, and a small Pentecostal church in Christchurch, New Zealand, became the place where everything turned. From a bike ride across town with his girlfriend Christine, to a room full of elderly believers laying hands on him, to the moment fear left and the Holy Spirit filled him — this is testimony that the same God who delivered then delivers now.
This story is more than nostalgia. It is a reminder that the power of the Holy Spirit is not theory — it transforms lives, breaks chains, and births revival. Within nine months of that night, over a thousand people came to Christ out of a single house. That same Spirit still moves. He still fills, still frees, still sends. Whatever door has been opened in your life, and whatever darkness has tried to settle in, the name of Jesus is still the name above every name. Listen, and let faith rise that God can do it again — in you, through you, and around you.

Phil Pringle explores Acts 2, describing the Holy Spirit’s outpouring at Pentecost, Peter’s Spirit-filled sermon, and the immediate response of 3,000 people coming to faith and being baptised.
The episode highlights the early church’s rhythms—apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, daily meeting, and radical sharing—and calls listeners to live as a Spirit-filled, unified community every day.

Phil Pringle explores Acts 1–2, recounting the disciples gathered in unity, Jesus' family joining in prayer, and the sudden coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. He explains how the Spirit brought unique passion and power to each believer, enabled miraculous speech in other languages, and launched the church as witnesses to the nations.
Along the way Phil emphasizes the importance of assembling together, remaining unified, and recognizing the Spirit's work rather than mocking it, closing with encouragement to be filled with boldness and purpose.

Fifty days. That's the gap between an empty tomb and a room full of fire, and it's no accident. On Sinai, the law came down and three thousand people died. On Pentecost, the Spirit came down and three thousand people were born again. The same number, the same mountain of God, but two completely different kingdoms: one that brings death, and one that brings life. This is where the book of Acts begins, and Phil Pringle opens it up to show you why Luke, a doctor, a man of logic and science, ended up writing more about the Holy Spirit than almost anyone else in the New Testament. Because once you've seen what the Spirit actually does, you can't unsee it.
Jesus tells His disciples to wait in Jerusalem, and they pray for ten days straight before heaven breaks open. That same pattern is the invitation to you. The baptism of the Holy Spirit isn't a one-time charge. It's a life lived plugged in, recharged again and again in the presence of God. Without that power, we're a phone with a dead battery: full of potential, capable of nothing. With it, we become witnesses to the ends of the earth, ready for the day Jesus returns the same way He left. As you walk towards Pentecost Sunday, let your hunger rise. Wait on Him. Get filled again. The Spirit who fell then is still falling now.

Faith crashes are real, and nobody talks about them honestly enough. Every person who has ever prayed with everything they had — for healing, for restoration, for a door to open — knows what it feels like when the answer doesn't come. The question isn't whether it will happen. The question is what you do when it does.
Phil Pringle draws from decades of pastoral experience and his own story of public setback — including eight years of council rejections and front-page newspaper headlines — to offer something more powerful than polished optimism: a clear, grounded path back to faith. He teaches the difference between aggressive faith and quiet trust, reminding us that Romans 8 holds even when we can't see how. He points to Paul, bitten by a snake after surviving a shipwreck, choosing to see opportunity where others saw catastrophe — and sparking revival across an entire island. The breakthrough, Phil reminds us, always comes at the end of many attempts. The last blow of the hammer is only possible because of every blow that came before it. If you're in the middle of a faith crash, this is the word you need to hear today.

Every believer wants to hear from God — but most of us aren't sure we actually do. We wonder whether the quiet inner nudge is divine guidance or just our own thinking, and so we ignore it, go our own way, and often end up right back where we started.
In this powerful short teaching, Phil Pringle brings honest, practical clarity to one of the most personal questions in the Christian life: what does God's voice actually sound like, and how do you know when He's speaking to you?
Drawing on decades of walking with the Holy Spirit, Phil shares how God communicates through peace rather than confusion, through a quiet inner knowing that grows clearer the more you learn to trust it. He recounts a remarkable miracle where a nine-year-old girl, declared brain dead by her doctors, walked out of hospital within three days — the turning point a direct word of the Lord spoken in faith. He reflects on Isaiah's promise that you will hear a voice behind you saying this is the way, and on Paul's reminder in 2 Timothy that God has given us not a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind. The bottom line, Phil says, is this: God is not a poor communicator. It's more often that we're not great at hearing. Slow down, seek Him, trust what you sense, and seek wise confirmation. His voice will become clearer. You can stake your life on it.

People often ask me, “What exactly do you do in your prayer time?”
For nearly 40 years, I’ve started my day by setting aside an hour to draw near to God. Usually early in the morning, before the noise of the day begins, I take that time to focus completely on Him. I don’t follow a rigid formula, but I do follow a pattern that has helped me stay consistent and connected.
I base my prayer time on the Lord’s Prayer and the pattern of the Old Testament Tabernacle. I begin with thanksgiving. Then I move into praise and worship. I take time to cleanse my heart before God, confessing anything that needs to be put right. I speak Scripture out loud. I pray in the Spirit. I intercede for people. I declare God’s promises over situations in my life and in the lives of others.
It’s not complicated. And it’s not mechanical.
It’s fellowship.

If your passion for the Bible has grown cold, this episode will reignite it.
In this message, we unpack the life-changing power of God’s Word and why it is far more than history, poetry, or a list of rules. Scripture is life to your spirit, health to your soul, clarity in confusion, and strength in temptation. Just as Jesus defeated the enemy by speaking the Word, we are reminded that when we plant Scripture in our hearts and speak it out, it builds our faith and equips us for spiritual battle. The Word renews the mind, brings wisdom, restores joy, and gives clear direction in a world that constantly redefines truth.
We also explore five practical ways to receive the Word: hearing, reading, studying, memorising, and meditating. Meditation is where Scripture truly takes root, where it moves from information to transformation. The Bible warns us, guides us, cleanses us, and rewards those who live by it. This episode is a heartfelt invitation to fall in love with the Word again and allow the Holy Spirit to awaken fresh hunger, fresh revelation, and fresh power in your everyday walk with God.

How can you know God’s will for your life without second-guessing every step you take? In this empowering message, Ps Phil Pringle teaches that God’s will is not a hidden mystery waiting to be discovered, but a relationship that invites surrender and trust. Instead of waiting for a dramatic sign or an audible voice, we are called to walk forward in faith, knowing that God guides those who are already willing to say “yes.”
Drawing from decades of pastoral wisdom and key scriptures like Psalm 32, Isaiah 30, and James 3, this message unpacks how God leads us through peace, wisdom, counsel, and His Word. You’ll be encouraged to make decisions with a sound mind, trust God to redirect when needed, and embrace the freedom of walking with Him day by day.
If you have ever struggled with indecision, fear of making the wrong choice, or over-spiritualising every step, this teaching will bring clarity and peace. God’s will is good, pleasing, and perfectly fitted for you. As you commit your ways to Him, He promises to direct your steps and take joy in your journey.

This insightful devotional explores one of the most common and deeply personal questions believers ask: How do I know the will of God? Drawing from decades of pastoral experience, the message anchors us in Romans 12:2, revealing that God’s will is not mysterious or frightening, but good, acceptable, and perfect. Rather than being dark or restrictive, God’s will carries a deep sense of inner rightness—a harmony where timing, people, purpose, and peace come together, even when circumstances are challenging.
A key emphasis is the role of peace as God’s internal guide. From Colossians 3:15, we’re reminded that the peace of God is meant to rule in our hearts—acting as the final decision-maker. Confusion, chaos, and inner turmoil are not signs of divine leading; peace is. Even when something seems spiritually noble, moving ahead without peace can be presumption rather than obedience.
The message also gently reframes our understanding of timing. God may give us a vision long before He fulfils it, using seasons of waiting and trial to transform us into the person capable of carrying that calling. Biblical examples like Peter, Jacob, and Paul reveal a consistent pattern: promises are given early, but character is formed over time. Paul’s journey to Rome—fulfilled through shipwreck, imprisonment, and unexpected hardship—shows that God’s will can look very different from our expectations, yet still be perfectly aligned with His purpose.
Ultimately, this devotional calls us to value God’s presence above comfort or convenience. When His presence is with us, even difficult circumstances can be the perfect will of God. True assurance doesn’t come from ideal conditions, but from knowing we are exactly where God wants us to be, walking in peace, trust, and surrender.
