Grace and Peace: Insights from Apostle Paul’s Epistle
In this powerful message, we're reminded of the importance of understanding our identity and calling in Christ. The opening of Paul's letter to the Ephesians teaches us that, like Paul, we are called by God for a specific purpose. Our identity isn't found in titles or positions, but in our relationship with Jesus Christ. The repeated mention of Jesus' name emphasises His centrality in our faith and mission. We're encouraged to recognise God's will for our lives, even if it doesn't come through dramatic experiences like Paul's Damascus road encounter. As believers, we're referred to as 'saints' - not because we're perfect, but because God sees us through the lens of our potential in Christ. This perspective challenges us to live up to the image God has of us, rather than settling for less.
